Here the days activities are taken up by relaxing around one of two swimming pools, lazing by the sea, or enjoying the hotel's cascading bougainvillea, flowing hibiscus and shady palm trees. For the more energetic, the hotel offers extensive water-sports, a gymnasium and tennis. Further activities, such as golf, boat-trips, and shopping and sight seeing trips to the capital city St. Johns are nearby and can easily be arranged.

At the end of the day at this Resort, our guests usually take the time to sit back and enjoy the sunset from their room, or one of our bars. In the evening there is then the choice of dining in the comfort of our outdoor Palm Restaurant, or treating yourself to the a la carte food in Vyvien's. "The Pelican Bar" At night, the Pelican Bar provides a luxurious setting in which to start your evening. Entertainment Every night of the week, this Resort offers its guests some form of entertainment, from performances by some of the islands best known bands to light hearted crab racing.

The Gardens When he founded this Resort some 35 years ago, one of the things the Owner took meticulous care about was maintaining the beauty and splendour of the hotels tropical gardens. This is a tradition the present owners have obsessively tried to continue, and today we pride ourselves in having 14 acres of cascading bougainvillaea, flowering hibiscus and shady palm trees that make this Resort a magical setting in which to relax and unwind.

Unlimited access to our fully equipped, air-conditioned gymnasium means staying in shape is no problem at this hotel. However, for a more relaxed approach to feeling fit and healthy a trip to the Spa and Beauty Salon is highly recommended, where any of a wide range of hair and beauty treatments will leave you feeling healthy and revitalised.

Relaxation at the Resort begins in your room, furnished to the highest standards and designed for your total comfort and enjoyment. There are in total 77 rooms of varying standards, all with both air conditioning and additional ceiling fans. Each room has a clear view of the Caribbean Sea, and opens onto a spacious balcony with table and chairs. Furthermore, every room has rattan furniture, and is decorated in colourful yet subtle pastels to provide a cooling atmosphere in which to enjoy your stay. There is a choice of one king size or two twin-sized beds in your room depending on your requirements, and each room has an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, two sinks and a vanity shelve.

Superior Hillside Rooms: These rooms have sea-views, nestled within the hotel's gardens, and are situated above the beachfront villas.

Deluxe Beachfront Rooms: Just yards from the hotel's main beach, these rooms have a prime location with a dynamic view of the Caribbean Sea.

Hillside Junior Suite: With their own separate lounge area, these rooms are extremely spacious and are set within the hotel's tropical gardens.

Beachfront Junior Suite: Also extremely spacious, with their own separate lounge, these rooms are situated just yards from the hotels main beach with dynamic views of the Caribbean Sea.

Luxury Suites: Offering the most luxurious of accommodation, these rooms have their own separate lounge, whirlpool bath, and are double the size of our standard accommodation. A magnificent double balcony enables private dining experiences of up to six people, with spectacular views of the bay.

One to Three Bedroom Luxury Villas: Ideal for those with families, in groups, or desiring luxury accommodation with all possible amenities, these villas include a living room, dining room and kitchen, with the ability to interconnect rooms. All villas are beach front. Interconnecting rooms are also available.

After the ceremony you will be presented with a one tier wedding cake and 2nd bottle of French Champagne to toast your happiness. And if you stay for 14 nights or more in a Deluxe Room, Suite or Villa your wedding is free.

"Palm" In the 'Palm' Restaurant the Resorts guests can enjoy outdoor dining while relaxing in the gentle Caribbean Sea breeze, with spectacular views of the hotel bay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the 'Palm' Restaurant. Breakfast is served as a buffet while there is the option of either buffet or menu dining for lunch and dinner. The cuisine in 'Palm' is varied, drawing influence from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds. Many vegetarian and healthy options are available, in combination with some of the more indulging of culinary delights.

"Vyvien's" However, for those nights when our guests really feel like treating themselves, "Vyvien's" a la carte restaurant offers an extensive list of some of the worlds most tantalising and tempting wines and cuisine. Again drawing influence from a variety of different cultures, yet this time with a view to providing the ultimate dining experience, "Vyvien's" Restaurant tends to delight our guests again and again. This fully air-conditioned restaurant is only available for evening meals.

"Barbecue" With the pool side barbecue a veritable feast is set once a week, combining traditional barbecue cooking with authentic Caribbean cuisine. Our guests enjoy truly authentic al fresco dining in an idyllic candlelit environment, nestled between the hotel and the sea.

Antigua Sailing Week: Antigua Sailing Week consists of a week of intense yacht racing and partying. From late April to early May people travel near and far to soak up the carnival atmosphere both on and offshore.

Welcome to the Villa Resort and the beautiful and tranquil island of Virgin Gorda; a combination that is sure to give you memories that will last a very long time. The Manor was designed and built as an island getaway for families and small groups (up to 16 persons). Conceived as a group/family villa, it consists of three floors: Two furnished efficiency apartments on the first floor, and three rooms on the second and third floors respectively; all with private baths and balconies.

The rooms can best be described as deluxe. One of the rooms on the second and third floors (super-deluxe) also includes a Jacuzzi. All units are fully furnished, and has breathtaking views of the east bay, (Handsome Bay), the Atlantic Ocean, Spanish Town, Drakes Passage, the surrounding islands and magnificent sunrises and sunsets. Amenities on both floors (second and third) include, a fully furnished central kitchen equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, cooking and eating utensils (self-catering). A mini bar adjoins the kitchen and dining room. The first floor efficiencies are equipped with kitchenettes. The living rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and equipped with phones and television. Wall murals by local artist, Joseph Hodge, decorate the walls; and furnishings are of bamboo, imported from the Philippines. The laundry rooms (on second and third floors) are equipped with washer, dryer, Iron and Ironing board.

The Manor can best be described as roomy, spacious and very comfortable. At the Villa Resort you are close, yet far away and private. Maid service is included in the rates. Arrangements for other services and activities can be easily made: Private chef, bartender, car rental, fishing trips, scuba diving, day trips and excursions to neighboring islands etc. Combined with the natural beauty and tranquility of Virgin Gorda, the Villa Resort is your complete island escape. It is located on Virgin Gorda's southwestern area (on the way to the Copper Mine) in the beautiful and tranquil British Virgin Islands. It is within close proximity of most amenities; (5 -10 minutes) shops, restaurants, clinic, churches, bank, marine facilities and ports of entry (air port and ferry dock ). Virgin Gorda is a favorite among vacationers; mostly because of it's natural beauty, tranquility and laid back lifestyle. Here, natural beauty and tranquility are simply, natural. The northern half of the island is fairly mountainous while the southern half is relatively flat with rich green landscape interspersed with large house-size boulders supposedly spewed up from the sea-floor eons ago.
